🚨 DELHI GROUND REPORT | Connaught Place, 15 October 2026

Central Park's gates appeared chained and closed during our ground check at around 6 PM. Security personnel and buses were also visible in the area.

Here's what is confirmed:

• NDMC notice: Central Park, Connaught Place, will remain closed to the general public on 16 and 17 October 2026, citing “administrative reasons.”

• CJP's announcement: The Cockroach Janta Party has announced its “Lehra Do Tiranga” march for 16 October.

• Delhi High Court update: On 15 October, the court declined to restrain the proposed protest and recorded the police's assurance that the activity would be regulated and controlled.

Important: The court's refusal to restrain the protest does not automatically establish that the organisers have police permission. The Indian Express reported that permission for the Delhi rally had not been granted at the time of publication.

So, will the march take place? We are reporting what we observed and what the available documents and reports establish. The actual outcome remains to be verified.
