INDIAN PILOT SMIT MACHCHHAR BECOMES HERO AFTER FLYDUBAI COCKPIT ATTACK 🇮🇳✈️
Flydubai flight FZ1073 was flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv on September 30, 2026, when a serious incident unfolded inside the cockpit.
The flight was cruising at around 34,000 feet when it suddenly began making dramatic climbs and descents. The aircraft transmitted 7700 (general emergency) and later 7500 (unlawful interference) before diverting to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
According to Israeli officials, the co-pilot attacked and stabbed Captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian pilot. Despite being injured, Machchhar managed to open the cockpit door, allowing passengers and crew to enter and restrain the attacker. The aircraft subsequently landed safely in Tabuk, with all 174 people aboard surviving.
The exact circumstances and motive remain under investigation, and flydubai has cautioned against premature speculation.
